New Regulations to Buy Bumi Lot Property in Johor

Before 2013 election, immediately after 6 months of advertisement, all unsold Bumiputera property lots (both commercial and residential) can be converted to International property lots. People who work in Johor can also easily buy Bumi property lot in Johor as long as they can prove they have been working in Johor for the past five years.

With the new Menteri Besar, there are several changes were done such as any unsold Bumi property lot is no longer transferable to International property lot, and any application for a Bumiputera lot must come together with the birth certificate and Identification Card.

There are many more major projects and higher income to the population will be announced in the future. As a result, there will be more migration to Johor Bahru. Hence, a stricter regulation is expected. One of the biggest ICT company in the world is coming to Johor Bahru!
