Harvesting Cotton Banana (Pisang Kapas) Fruit 3 & 4

On 8th Nov. 2018, I harvested my 3rd organic cotton banana.

There were six brushes of banana which is quite good considering the soil in my house is not really fertile.

A bountiful harvest.

On 26 January 2019, I cut down another tree and harvest my 4th banana cotton.

Since the soil is not so fertile, the tree is not tall. So, I can easily cut down the tree.

It was still a satisfying harvest.

As usual, I destroy the whole tree. In the future, I should think how to reuse the cut tree.

Fresh Banana Cotton Fruit 2

These are the second generation of my banana cotton. Keeping the trees are easy since they don't require much work to do: putting fertilizer, pesticide or water.

19 July 2019. Most of the time, I just cut the dried leaves. And the tree will produce a reasonable bunch of banana.

Cutting the tree on the left on 3 Nov. 2018. Like I wrote, it is easy to keep the banana trees.

But, make sure after you harvest the fruit, you cut the tree until the bottom of the tree. It is important to dispose the whole banana tree to ensure the next generation trees are in good health.

I cut the other banana cotton tree in the next few days.

Golden Banana Progress

The golden banana started bearing fruit on 11 Nov. 2017 as shown in the first picture below. The heart appeared by pointing to the heaven. A few days later, the heart began to show the internal fruit as shown in the right picture which was taken on 17 Nov. 2017.

A closer look at the banana fruit which has grown the fruit from the heart.

This is how the banana fruit looks like on 26 Nov. 2017 on the left. While on the right shows that the end of the heart was chopped off on 3rd Dec. 2017.

Below are the picture of the ripe cotton banana which I already harvested on 21 Nov. 2017. Behind the cotton banana trees are the golden banana trees.
